Attention glam hard rock enthusiasts! Here’s your chance to grab a piece of rock history. This vintage 1983 Fastway tour shirt is from their unforgettable performance opening for AC/DC on November 26, 1983, at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Hollywood, Florida. Along with the shirt, you’ll receive the original ticket stub from the show, headlined by AC/DC, where this shirt was originally purchased.
Fastway, an English hard rock band, was formed in 1982 by former Motörhead guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke and former UFO bassist Pete Way. Despite various lineup changes, Fastway made a significant impact on the rock scene with their self-titled debut album released in April 1983. Although Pete Way left the band before the album’s recording sessions to join Ozzy Osbourne, the album’s bass parts were played by Mickey Feats.
This rare shirt is original tour merchandise from a legendary concert and comes with a ticket stub from the show. Offered in as-found condition, having been stored since the 1980s. It carries the marks of countless headbanging sessions and mosh pits, making it a true relic of the era. This shirt has some pilling and subtle browning of the center back that is very unlikely to lift even with washing.
