1970s The Doesn't Slip Mini Slip Small

A vintage 1970s lace-trimmed black "The Doesn't Slip" black nylon full slip by Sears, Roebuck, and Co. This slip was marketed by Sears as specially designed to reduce ride up and resist clinging.

Side length (underarm to hem): 26" 

Care and condition: Sears recommended, "machine wash warm, with similar colors. If desirable, use fabric softener in the last rinse. Tumble dry low. Commercial laundering not recommended". This slip was hand-shortened by a home seamstress. There are a few surface mars on the front and a tiny pull near the front hemline. Please refer to the images for details.
