1930s Art Deco Sabino France Amber Glass Vase

This 1930s Art Deco-inspired ovoid vase is made of molded amber glass and features a mimosa design. It is signed "Sabino France," indicating it was made for export. Sabino Glass, still produced in France today, was designed by Marius Ernest Sabino. Born in Sicily in 1878, Sabino moved to France at the age of four. Following his father's path, he trained as a sculptor, and his early training is evident in the finely detailed figurines he created for the molds used in his glass designs. 4 inches tall. (10 cm)
