1915 Child English Bulldog
1915 vintage postcard. "Anybody 'at loves me, 'as to love my dog." Truer words were never spoken. A smiling little girl in a pink dress holds her English Bulldog.
British war propaganda card meaning "Love me - love my country" Artist Signed D. Tempest: With the outbreak of WW1 in 1914, Tempest produced a series of anti-Kaiser cartoons that were released as slides and postcards. The English Bulldog is a longstanding symbol of Great Britain. This postcard was one of the more innocent WW1 patriotic propaganda cards drawn by Tempest. This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
