1913 vintage postcard. A man in a straw boater carries his cane and enjoys a good laugh with the lady walking with him. She wears the Orientalism-influenced attire of the period.
The Edwardians enjoyed double entendres, and this card is no exception to the practice. Captioned "You strike me right", this could be interpreted as a baseball metaphor or a little playful spanking tease. Either way, it's a fun and flirty image that is sure to please.
This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
