1920 vintage postcard. Tomb of Cardinal Juan de Tavera in the Hospital de San Juan, Toledo, Spain. The marble sepulcher was carved by Alonso Berruguete, who is regarded as the most important sculptor of the Spanish Renaissance. This is an early albumen real photograph postcard by the important French photographer Lucien Roisin Besnard. Rare card. This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
