Calling all metalheads! Here’s your chance to own rock history with this authentic vintage Judas Priest long-sleeved red tour shirt.
The Metal Conqueror tour was a landmark event in the history of heavy metal. Spanning from January to September 1984, this tour was in support of Judas Priest’s renowned album “Defenders of the Faith.” The tour was known for its extravagant stage designs, including a colossal drum riser modeled after the Metallian from the album cover, and featured Rob Halford’s iconic motorcycle entrance.
This shirt was purchased at the epic show on June 30, 1984, at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Hollywood, Florida. The original ticket stub from the show is also offered separately. During the Hollywood Sportatorium show, Judas Priest was accompanied by Kick Axe, which added to the electrifying atmosphere of the night.
This shirt has two-sided graphics that are crisp and bright, capturing the raw energy and rebellious spirit of Judas Priest. The shirt was purchased at the show and has been in storage since the 1980s; there are stains throughout that we do not think will wash out (see images, please). Offered in as-found condition. The Mt Airy tag is deteriorated. 100% cotton. There is a hole on the front right side several inches from the hem (see images).
