Scarce. This catalog pamphlet was created for the exhibition Wiener Werkstaette at the Galerie St. Etienne in New York, NY, from November through December 1966. It was the first formal Wiener Werkstätte exhibition held in the United States. The Wiener Werkstätte, or Vienna Workshops, was a cooperative of artists and craftsmen founded in 1903 in Vienna, Austria. The enterprise evolved from the Vienna Secession, founded in 1897 as a progressive alliance of artists and designers. It was established to bring together the worlds of art and industry, creating high-quality, handcrafted goods that combined functionality with artistic design. 

This pamphlet includes black and white plates and an itemized list of exhibited items, including works by Egon Schiele, Dagobert Peche, Oskar Kokoschka, Susi Singer, Ludwig Heinrich Jungnickel, Gustav Klimt, Julius Zimpel et al. There are also three pages of the various trademarks and monograms used by craftsmen and artists of the Wiener & Werkstätte.
