23L White Celluloid Two Hole Buttons

Set of six 1930s vintage two hole white celluloid buttons. Domed sew-through buttons with Art Deco-influenced nature-inspired rim. Measure approximately 23L, 23 lignes, 14.6 mm, 37/64 inches. 

Celluloids are considered the first plastic. Introduced in 1880, the height of celluloid was seen between the 1930s and 1955. It was banned from production because it is highly flammable.
