1909 La Jupe-Culotte Parisian Suffragette

1909 vintage photo postcard of two women wearing "trouser-skirts". The new culotte - a pants prototype worn by women in 1909. Also called a harem skirt, this new attire was favored by Suffragettes. Some establishments banned the attire, considering it controversial. N.P. Paris, New Fashions, The culottes: N. P. Paris, Les Modes Nouvelles. This card would look great framed and make an excellent addition to any collection.
