1926 vintage topographical postcard. Zoological Park, Detroit, Michigan. "The Bird House is with hundreds of gaily colored birds from all parts of the world." Built in 1926, William H. Creaser of Donaldson and Meier designed this Beaux Arts-style structure to serve as the Bird House or Aviary for the Detroit Zoo. This antique postcard would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
