1907 vintage lithograph postcard of the Old Tarascon Flour Mill in Louisville, Kentucky. A man with children, a young boy energetically throws a rock in the water as a young girl clings to her (most likely) father. Charming. The ruins of the Tarascon flour mill were destroyed by fire in 1898. The Old Mill was built in 1819 by John Tarascon. In 1842 the mill was taken over by John Hulme and Francis McHarry who began to mill cement from limestone quarried from the Falls' ledges.
