1947 Fort Necessity Uniontown Pennsylvania

1947 vintage postcard of Fort Necessity, which is historically significant as the site of George Washington’s first real battle. The fort is shown as a circular wooden palisade situated in an open field, with an American flag flying at its center. The foreground features greenery and a body of water, while the sky above is partly cloudy.
