1940. From the 1940s through the 1970s, the Kungsholm restaurant offered Swedish smorgasbord from the McCormick Mansion at the corner of Rush and Ontario Streets in Chicago, Illinois. The dining room was named after Lauritz Melchior, a Danish-American opera singer who performed with the Chicago Opera from 1934 to 1945. Code 0B-H190 dates this card to 1940. This vintage lithograph postcard would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
