1940s Plus Size Pretties 10x27

Late 1940s to early 1950s vintage plus size seamless stockings. A subdued, classy, grayish beige color, "Gray Beige," was popular for the era. 100% Mercerized cotton: Mercerization is a process that increases luster in the hosiery. Mercerized fibers absorb more dye, making the color brighter and richer.

New old store stock. RHT- reinforced heel toe. Boarded. 260 needle: 260 indicates these are a finer yet more durable density than lower needle stockings.

Measured flat, approximately:
10 inches toe tip to heel
Regular length, 27 inches from thigh to center heel

Boarded on the fuller side for a fuller-figured gal. Estimate 1X, as these fall into the vintage "Stout" range.
