1924. Snail Ride, sometimes called Snail With Elf, was designed by Albert Caasmann for Rosenthal in 1921. Mold number K602, 3. The mark on the base reads Rosenthal Selb Bavaria, which dates this piece to 1924. Approximately 5 inches tall (12.5 cm). 

Albert Caasmann (1886 – 1968) was a German sculptor and porcelain artist. He designed a series of elf and fairytale-themed figurines, including this Ground Fairy riding a snail.
