1930s Purty Peach Satin Tap Pant Panties Sm

Late 1920s to early 1930s, pretty peach liquid satin tap pants trimmed in ecru lace and embroidery.

Measurements taken flat and not stretched, doubled where appropriate:
Waist 20 inches (10 inches flat)
Hips 38 inches 
Leg openings 24 inches
Side length 12 inches
Front Rise 15 inches
Rear Rise 18 inches

These "purty" vintage panties were found with the waist sides opened and elastic waistband extensions safety-pinned at each side. Because they date from the late 1920s to the early 1930s, my guess is that she became pregnant and, because of the Great Depression, could not buy newer ones to accommodate her. They have since been returned to their original size, with evidence of their condition pictured in the images. Please see where there is a small area by the back inner crotch/fanny area that shows subtle signs of outer surface wear on the satin.

Wash these Rayon liquid satin weave French Knickers like silk. Hand wash separately in warm water. Air drying will best suit the longevity of this vintage foundation.
