A late 1930s to early 1940s vintage shift full slip. Label: Stoneswear

Measurements are taken flat. There is no "give" in the fabric:
Bust: 36"
Waist: 36"
Armholes: 22"
Total length: 42"
Side length (armpit to hem): 33"
Sweep/Hem: 50"

Care instructions: To properly wash this cotton slip, fill a basin with cool water and a cotton-friendly detergent. Gently hand agitate the fabric and soak for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water. After washing, press out excess water between towels and lay flat or hang to air dry.

Condition: There is a repair near the left side, and damage at both sides at the hem. There are some very subtle surface stains and some foxing.
