1909 La Jupe-Culotte Parisian Suffragette Fashion Vintage Postcard

1909 vintage photo postcard of two women wearing trouser-skirts. The new culotte - a pants prototype worn by women in 1909. Also called a harem skirt, this new attire was favored by Suffragettes. Some establishments banned the attire, considering it controversial. N.P. Paris, New Fashions, The culottes: N. P. Paris, Les Modes Nouvelles.
