The American band was formed in the early 1980s. Initially emerging from the pop/funk group Rubicon led by Jerry Martini of Sly and the Family Stone fame, Night Ranger's core members included bassist Jack Blades, drummer Kelly Keagy, and guitarist Brad Gillis. Former Montrose keyboardist Alan Fitzgerald joined the trio in 1980, followed by guitarist Jeff Watson. Originally performing as "Stereo," the band transitioned to "Ranger" before adopting the name Night Ranger in 1982. Known for their hard rock, glam metal, and arena rock sound, Night Ranger epitomized the popular music style of the era with their energetic performances and catchy tunes.
Flexi discs are thin, flexible vinyl records popular in the 1970s and 1980s. They were distributed in music magazines, cereal boxes, or special events. Despite the lower audio quality than other formats, they are well-loved by music enthusiasts.
