1910 Tall Tale of Turtle Doves

1910 vintage exaggeration romance postcard. Photoshop ain't got nothin' on the early trick photography and photocomposition seen here! An Exaggeration, or Tall Tale, postcard of two turtle doves flying through the air. They carry a man and woman who appear to be comfortably seated, almost as if on a porch swing, on strands of satin ribbon. "Will You Be My Turtle Dove" greeting. In Greek mythology, turtle doves are considered sacred to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. Such a great card! This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
