1953 vintage postcard. Serra Chapel, one of California’s most historically significant chapels, has been a cornerstone for the daily celebration of the Eucharist in San Juan Capistrano for nearly 240 years. This enduring adobe structure, known as Father Serra’s Church, forms the east side of the quadrangle and stands as the oldest part of the Mission and the oldest building in the state. It continues to be a place of profound meaning and tradition into the 21st century. This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
