1951 vintage postcard. "The scenic reservation is in the midst of the most beautiful lake and timber country in America. Wolf River, with its many waterfalls and dells filled with trout, is nationally famous. This territory between Shawano and Antigo, Wisconsin, is the home of the Menominee Indians."

The Menominee Tribe's history is unique because its origin begins at the mouth of the Menominee River. This is where their five clans: ancestral Bear, Eagle, Wolf, Moose, and Crane were created. Not many tribes in this region can attest to their origin place existing close to or near their reservation. This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
