1934 Magdalene Basilica Tympanum Vezelay France

1934 vintage topographical postcard. Shortly after its foundation in the 9th century, the Benedictine abbey of Vézelay acquired the relics of St Mary Magdalene. Since then it has been an important place of pilgrimage. Here we see the central tympanum of the narthex. This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
