1926 Bird House Detroit Michigan Zoo

1926 vintage postcard. Zoological Park, Detroit, Michigan. "The Bird House is with hundreds of gaily colored birds from all parts of the world." Built in 1926, this Beaux Arts-style structure was designed by William H. Creaser of Donaldson and Meier to serve as the Bird House or Aviary for the Detroit Zoo. This antique postcard would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
