1908 vintage postcard. A heart-shaped cameo of a man and woman in Regency-era attire brings the romance of Jane Austen's world to mind. This romantic postcard is heavily gilded and set with light embossing. Although the greeting "A Gift of Love" is one of sweet affection, it is the flowers that speak the language of love. The pansies, named after the French word for “thought,” represent the not-yet-spoken thoughts of love.
