1908 Valentine Vintage Postcard - A Tea Spoon = "A Teaspoon"

To "spoon" is to show affection - more specifically, spooning is a form of cuddling where two people lie facing the same direction, and one person's back presses against the other person's torso and chest. The position looks similar to the spoons stacked together in your utensil drawer.

1908 vintage postcard. A heart-shaped cameo of a man and woman in Regency-era attire brings the romance of Jane Austen's world to mind. This romantic postcard is heavily gilded and set with light embossing. Although the greeting "A Gift of Love" is one of sweet affection, it is the flowers that speak the language of love. The pansies, named after the French word for “thought,” represent the not-yet-spoken thoughts of love. It is said that if you pick pansies for a lover, you can hear their loving thoughts about you in return. This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
