1942 vintage saucy comic postcard: A cat burglar finds a hoard... of cash! Ha! After the Wall Street crash in 1929, there were runs on the banks because people's bank savings disappeared! After that, people did not trust the banks and would hide their money at home. This card is a historic social commentary - and a possible warning - about hiding money at home.
