1909 Christmas Bells

Silver Christmas bell with 190 on the side. Swings with the clanger in full view - you can almost hear it ring!  Fresh sprigs of holly and evergreen are embossed across the card. A Winter pastoral scene of a starry night sky - very unusual to see a nighttime pastoral on this genre card. In each corner are a gold-gilded windmill and pastoral silhouette against a light blue background. "A Merry Christmas" greeting in gold. Postmarked, posted in 1913, but this card was made in 1909.
