William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825 -1905) was a Paris Salon artist famous for his stunning female nudes depicted in mythological settings. This is an official catalog for the traveling William-Adolphe Bouguereau exhibition, 13 December 1974 to 2 February 1975. The exhibit traveled from The New York Cultural Center to the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, California, Palace of the Legion of Honor. This catalog includes an informative Introduction to the Life and Art of Bouguereau, a Chronology of his life, a descriptive Catalog, and black-and-white photographs of 23 works.
