1934 Vintage comic postcard captioned: "We Are Enjoying Outside Accommodations in West Texas" A Great Depression era card with a white border that saved on printing costs. Family sleeping outside. Sign of the times. Amazing detail by an amazing artist.

Equal to Maine, N. Y., and Penna in area, the 1890 population of the 95 counties of West Texas multiplied ten times to 981,351 by 1930 and 1,019,525 by 1940- America's last frontier and land of the modern pioneer!

Ray Walters was perhaps the most prolific and popular cartoon postcard artist of the twentieth century. Walters's cards were drawn in the 1930s and 40s. Code 4A-H1369 dates this card to 1934. This postcard would look great framed. It would make a nice addition to any collection.
