1907. The Denver East Mint in Colorado is a branch of the United States Mint that struck its first coins on February 1, 1906. The message on the card talks about a shooting: "Aug 22nd '07 - Cisco Utah - stopped over till morning to give medical assistance to a young man who was shot just as the train pulled out. 65 miles from a Dr. I leave in the morning for Ogden, Will write you later". The front of the postcard says "Patient doing fine".
