1930s Art Deco Sabino France Blue Glass Vase

1930s. Marius-Ernest Sabino ovoid periwinkle blue vase in molded glass with mimosa blossom decoration. Signed: Sabino France, indicating the piece was intended for export.
This vase presents a fine example of pre-WW2 Sabino molded glass, as it is "soft and soapy" or "waxy" due to the use of arsenic in the original formula. Shelf wear and a hairline fracture at the lip are shown in enlarged images. 4 inches tall. (10 cm).
