Condition: I am not a professional record grader. Please see the images. I listened to both sides, and there were no skips. The record looks good and like it was rarely played. There is a one-inch-long featherlight scratch on side B, but it doesn't affect the sound. The labels on both sides of the record have some soiling.
The cover looks good. There is a crease at the left front corner and dings on the opening corners. Soiling on inner edge openings. The sleeve is split on all three sides, has a crease, and has soiling.
"Perfect Strangers" represents a successful return to form for the band, with the reunion of the Mark II lineup. It's a mix of hard rock and more melodic elements, and tracks like "Perfect Strangers" and "Knocking at Your Back Door" became staples of their live performances.
The title track, "Perfect Strangers," became one of Deep Purple’s most iconic songs from this era. The album is seen as a comeback, as the band had been absent for several years after Ritchie Blackmore's departure in the 1970s.
